Is the investment liquid?
Investing in FCT (Fonds Commun de Titrisation) units offered by Younited Credit offers natural, but limited liquidity.
The liquidity of the investment corresponds to the cash generated by the fund’s receivables (monthly repayments, collections, prepayments).
Every month, borrowers pay a monthly instalment on their credit, make early repayments, or repay their monthly instalments late. This represents several thousand deductions, and between 3% and 5% in value of each fund.
Each month, these withdrawals are transferred to the fund; this liquidity contribution makes it possible to :
– Settle investors’ share redemption requests (as a priority)
– If no repayment is requested, cash is reinvested in new loans
In the extreme case of all investors requesting redemption of their shares at the same time, share redemption orders would be executed on a pro rata basis, with each investor receiving between 3% and 5% every month until full redemption.
In practice, investors wishing to exit can request a total or partial redemption of their investment via their investor client area, which will be executed as soon as possible depending on the liquidity available in the funds, after a 30-day notification period.
